What are fancy yarns?
Generally, the production of non-general worsted/carded system possessed special appearance yarns can be summed up as fancy yarn.
Compare with general 100% single material yarns, fancy has had more flexible composition structures.
By using the different dyeing characteristic of these materials, fancy yarn has broader colour effect on swatch performance.
If we clarified and categorized, all fancy yarn structure has a combination of base yarn, binder, and effect yarn.
Different kinds of structures can be derived extended series of yarn type, such as tweed yarn, loop yarn, slub yarn, knot yarn, feather yarn, and brush yarn.
If broad its classification, then tape yarn, air yarn and feather yarn …etc. could all be included as fancy yarn family.
