Description  
Perennial herbs. Glandular pubescence throughout. Root sturdy. Stem 0.7-2m tall. Base slightly woody. Leaves alternate, oblong-lanceolate, lanceolate, oblong or ovate, apex acuminate, base gradually narrows to stem in auricular and semi amplexicaul, 10-30cm long, 8-15cm wide, handle inconspicuous or winged.



Harvest & Processing  
Mature leaves can be collected several times in July when tobacco leaves turn from dark green to light yellow and leaf apex drop. After collected, sun-dried or baked to dry, moistened again, fermented and dried. Also used fresh.

Taste pungent, warm in nature, toxic. Activating qi-flow, easing pain, drying dampness, dispersing swelling, detoxifying and killing parasites.
